Marketing 101

Marketing 101

Is your marketing bringing in clients?

Every business, especially small business owners who provide professional services, needs branding. That’s the look that sets you apart in your logo, your ads, your fonts and colors, and your website. But before you spend money developing your look, you need to know who you want to talk to, and the message you need to send.

That’s Marketing 101, and if you don’t nail that, your messaging will be off. Putting what you do into words that will bring prospects in is the key to getting clients, making money, and being successful.

And if you do it right, it’s also the key to happiness as a business owner.

Putting what you do into words that bring in ideal clients is the key to working with people who bring you joy and doing work you love, which will make you more money and help you be even more successful.

If you feel like your messaging isn’t connecting with your ideal prospect, trust me, it’s not.

For almost three decades I’ve worked with small businesses to develop winning marketing strategies, and I start here, with the basics, for every branding client. But not every small business owner has – or needs to spend – thousands of dollars for developing their look. So I am breaking out this part of my service into a stand-alone program.

In an intensive four-week program, I’ll meet with you one-on-one (no group, no video training, just individual private consulting) to dive deep into your marketing. We’ll look at what works, what doesn’t, where you want your business to be – and develop a plan to get you there.

When you finish the program, you’ll know your ideal client and the best messaging to reach them. You’ll have a plan for your brand, with a detailed picture of the mood and emotions your branding needs to create, you’ll know what branding elements your company needs.

As part of my regular branding package, this consulting and planning costs several thousand dollars. But since this is a brand new program, I need case studies. I’m opening up the program to 6 business owners at less than 75% of the regular cost.

What this means is that I’ll have a lot invested in your success. If I accept you into the program, you’ll have to be dedicated, and willing to show up and work hard. I promise you, it’ll be worth it.

It starts with a conversation, so if you’d like to be considered for the program, click the link below to book a spot on my calendar. We’ll talk for about 30 minutes – long enough to decide if we like each other, if I believe I can help you, and if you want to work with me. And then we’ll go from there.
